Stargate: Horizon was created by Alex Rubit, and first premiered on November 4th 2004. Its one of the first virtual spin offs to Stargate SG-1, and just like a television show, there is a writing staff working on the episodes and stories.

Stargate:Horizon is script based, meaning that each episode consists of a script for a one hour television episode of 43 minutes. However, the scripts contain more detail than a screenwriter normally would add, simply to make the episodes more interesting for a general audience to read. The goal is that everyone reading the episodes, should have the feeling theyre watching them on television. You will find stand alone concepts as well as arc episodes, and the way the storylines progress as well as the character development works just like on a television show.

Also just like a television show, Horizon will consist of seasons. Episodes are published weekly, every Thursday, except for hiatus periods. The first season concluded in May of 2005, with the second season scheduled for a September 2005 premiere. While Season One consists of 22 episodes (each of them is available for download in the episodes section), Season Two will contain 24 episodes.

Another addition to the show in Season Two are 3D images and graphics that are released along with episodes. In addition to our writing staff, we also have an art department, consisting of 3D artists and graphic designers.

The producers of Stargate:Horizon plan to keep this show running for many seasons to come, capturing the attention of fans from all around the world.
We hope you will enjoy the show.
